Pyloric Tit Sign
A finding in an upper GI series of films of an infant with hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, in which the completely obstructed antrum and adjoining pyloric canal simulate the voluptuous curves of a breast and nipple; the nipple becomes pronounced as the pyloric muscle unsuccessfully attempts to contract and push the barium beyond the markedly stenosed canal; rarely, normal peristaltic pouches may transiently increase in size, simulating the tit signSegen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc.
