Positively Diverse
Positively Diverse
A national organisational development programme from the Department of Health promulgated in 2000, which was integral to the NHS's drive to become a first-class employer and ensure that all staff are valued, listened to and involved in the development of the NHS. Positively Diverse is intended to encourage equality and diversity in the workplace, and change the culture in the NHS in line with the strategic aims set out in Working Together and The Vital Connection: an equal opportunities framework. Positively Diverse aims to change the culture of NHS organisations by providing a strategic approach to addressing equality and diversity issues based on understanding how staff feel. It encourages local action to create an environment where differences between staff members are seen as normal and welcome.Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc. All rights reserved.
