PPIC

A gene on chromosome 5q23.2 that encodes peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase C (cyclophilin C), which, as with other PPIs, accelerates protein folding. It catalyses the cis-trans isomerisation of proline-imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides.
