PRDM1

PRDM1

A gene on chromosome 6q21 that encodes a protein which represses beta-interferon gene expression, by binding to the PRDI (positive regulatory domain I element) of the beta-IFN gene promoter. PRDM1 transcription increases in response to viral induction.
