Orgotein

A crude formulation of Cu Zn superoxide dismutase obtained from bovine liver, which has had orphan drug status for parenteral administration in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It has been promoted by alternative health providers as an anti-ageing agent and for treating scleroderma, radiation-induced cystitis, osteoarthritis, inflammation and urinary tract disorders.
