NHS National Services Scotland

A non-departmental public body (arm’s length body, quango) which is accountable to the Scottish government and works at the centre of the health service. It provides strategic services and expert advice to NHS Scotland, and interfaces with its partner organisations, especially NHS Boards, to deliver support services. NHSNSS has locations in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee and Livingston.
