MZF1

A gene on chromosome 19q13.4 that encodes a zinc finger protein which regulates transcription from PADI1 and CDH2 promoter during haematopoiesis.

TFAP2A was more strongly correlated with MZF1 ([r.sup.2] = 0.59; P = 1.87 x [10.sup.-7]) and less so with SP1 ([r.sup.2] = 0.46; P = 1.09 x [10.sup.-4]).
