Kilner screen

Paranormal
A device invented by Dr WJ Kilner (1847–1920) of St Thomas Hospital in London, which consists of two plates of glass separated by 1/8th of an inch and filled with a dye (e.g., carmine or coal-tar dye) in alcohol. An individual stands adjacent to the screen and his or her aura can allegedly be analysed.
