JACIE accreditation
JACIE accreditation
Joint Accreditation Committee of the ISCT and the EBMT accreditation. Accreditation by JACIE (see there), which is regarded as confirmation that a haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSC) centre in Europe is performing to the required level of practice in accordance with agreed standards of excellence.
JACIE accreditation allows a centre to certify that it operates an effective quality management system, that procedures are being performed in line with agreed standards with full participation by all staff members and that the centre’s clinical, collection and laboratory units are working together to achieve and sustain excellence in HSC transplantation.Segen's Medical Dictionary. © 2012 Farlex, Inc.
