Recently, we reported a unique behavior of hydrazine hydrate towards certain benzofurans to produce phenolic-based pyrazoles [42].
The antifungal activities of all the synthesized substituted (E)-1-benzylidene-2-(3-nitrophenyl) hydrazine compounds have been studied against three fungal species namely, Aspergillus niger, Mucor species and Trigoderma viride.
