New insights into the interaction mechanism of
humic acids with phillipsite.
The use of synthetic herbicides and pesticides contributes to a major degradation in soil health and the loss of
humic acid. Pioneers of the regenerative agriculture revolution remind us that our dependence on fertilizers and plows to maximize crop yields have greatly depleted soil organic matter.
Effect of dietary supplementation of
humic acids on performance of broilers.
The
humic acids used were extracted from vermicompost, presenting composition of 41% C and 3.6% of N.
Addition of peat and leonardite
humic acids does not influence the content of available phosphorus in Latosol when the dose to correct P deficiency corresponds to the recommended one, irrespective of acidity correction (pH 4.5 or 7.0).
The most common slow-release K fertiliser is KCl coated with polymers and
humic acid. Polymers provide a physical barrier to K diffusion out of the granule.
The readings in the visible range, both the scanning (230 to 700 nm) and the determination of the absorbances at 465 and 665 nm were made in solutions of purified fulvic and
humic acids, diluted appropriately in 0.05 mol [L.sup.-1] sodium bicarbonate.

humic acids as shown by dipolar dephasing [sup.13]C NMR and graphical-statistical analysis of pyrolysis compounds," Journal of Soils and Sediments, vol.
[10] reported after a 2-year field trial that onion plant growth did not respond to foliar application of amino acids relative to the control treatment, but increased growth response was recorded for those onion plants that were sprayed with
humic acid extracts.

humic acids (AH), and humin (HUM), on native grassland (CN), five-year old Pinus (P05), sixteen-year old Pinus (P16), and twenty-one-year old Pinus (P21) areas, in five layers until depth of 40 cm in a Humic Dystrupept.
