Klein and colleagues collaborated with Genomic Health, Inc., to develop the Oncotype DX Genomic Prostate Score, designed to be used in conjunction with the
Gleason grading system, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, and other clinical parameters to personalize treatment based on the underlying biology of an individual patient's prostate cancer.
The grading was performed using the
Gleason grading system according to the 2005 ISUP consensus conference.
