spatial resolution

An MRI term for the ability to delineate minute adjacent objects/points in an image, generally measured in line pairs per mm (lp/mm).

spatial resolution

Imaging Resolution in lateral direction of–ie, perpendicular to–ultrasound propagation in pulse-echo ultrasonography; SR reflects frequency of the ultrasonic pulse. Cf Axial resolution.
