For topical application Pyodine solution (Brookes Pharma) containing 10% Povidine iodine and Cicatrin powder (GlaxoSmithKline) containing Neomycin Sulphate BP 3300 units per gram and Bacitracin Zinc BP 250 units per gram were used.
When calves of group A (n=10) were treated with topical application of Pyodine solution and Cicatrin powder the average recovery was 43.75% (Table I).
