Candy Cocaine Oesophagus

A term for a thermal injury to the oesophagus caused from smoking freebase/crack cocaine; the term is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the candy cane oesophagus, a thermal injury resulting from the ingestion of a near boiling liquid whose name refers to the endoscopic appearance of the oesophagus after such an injury—alternating spiral bands of pink and white mucosa
