Beta-1-C-globulin, factor A A 180 kD serum protein; normal concentration 70–150 mg/dL, which is ↑ in chronic inflammation, bile obstruction, amyloidosis, severe protein malnutrition; ↓ in complement activation, immune complex disease, immunologic disease, bacteremia, genetic disease
