Buhot cell

A granular histiocyte present in the bone marrow of patients with mucopolysaccharidosis type I (Hurler syndrome), which is characterised by an excess in dermatan sulfate and heparan sulfate, due to a defect in α-l-iduronidase. It is not currently in use in working medical parlance.
