Bieler, Henry G

Henry G Bieler (1893–1972), a doctor from Pasadena, California, who is widely regarded as a pioneer in alternative medicine based on his book, Food is Your Best Medicine. Bieler used non-pharmaceutical, diet-based therapies to cure or control various diseases including asthma, diabetes and cancer. In his private life, he was an outdoorsman, musicologist and accomplished artist.
