Pierre A., French anatomist, 1785-1825. Béclard anastomosis - an anastomosis between the right and the left end-branch of the deep lingual artery. Synonym(s): arcus raninus
Béclard hernia - a hernia through the opening for the saphenous vein.
Béclard triangle - area bounded by the posterior border of the hyoglossus muscle, the posterior belly of the digastric and the greater horn of the hyoid bone.
