Bachelor of Pharmacy

A university degree in the UK that was awarded after a 3-year undergraduate pharmacy program, which was superseded in 1997 by the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), a degree awarded after a 4-year program through EU harmonisation.

An undergraduate academic degree in the field of pharmacy that has now largely been supplanted in the U.S. by the Pharm.D. (q.v.).

The last of these reminds me that until recently, most pharmacists held a bachelor of pharmacy degree that required a year or two beyond the four-year liberal arts degree to obtain.
