WASHINGTON -- The Bulk Pharmaceuticals Task Force (BPTF) has thrown its support behind the Generic Drug and Biosimilar User Fee Act, asserting it would better protect the U.S.
The June 30 meeting focused on funding for GDUFA, where FDA noted, "Congress will have the final role in determining the precise fee structure after the negotiated plan is presented to Congress for inclusion in user fee legislation," but no change was made from the 80/20 proposal reiterated by GPhA, the European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG) and SOCMA's Bulk Pharmaceutical Task Force (BPTF).
