Albunex®

A “first-generation” ultrasound contrast medium consisting of a solution of air-filled microbubbles (mean bubble size 4 µm, range 1–10 µM) produced by sonicating 5% albumin solution, which enhances ultrasonographic imaging of the heart, fallopian tubes, and other structures.
