Origin, ischial tuberosity and ischiopubic ramus; insertion, linea aspera and adductor tubercle of femur; action, adducts and extends thigh; nerve supply, obturator and sciatic.
Synonym(s): musculus adductor magnus [TA] , great adductor muscle.
