A gram-negative bacterial genus of uncertain clinical significance, closely related to members of the Alcaligenes and Ochrobactrum species.

Achromobacter

A genus of strictly aerobic rod-shaped bacteria, of the order Burkholderiales, whose motility results from 1–20 peritrichous ﬂagella. They are found in soil and water.
