In order to study the decolorizing ability and decoloring conditions of oil-soluble
azo dyes by strain ts17, the bacteria were incubated in the presence of 5 mg/L Sudan I which was dissolved in DMSO broth at 37AdegC without agitation., and reduction of the dyes was monitored.
