AKAP2

A gene on chromosome 9q31.3 that encodes a member of the structurally diverse A-kinase anchor protein (AKAP) family, which binds to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase A and associates with the actin cytoskeleton. AKAP2 mediates cAMP signals and may be involved in creating polarity in certain signalling processes.
