a piece of Kersey horse cloth (felt) with a tape attached at the middle of its width and along its length. It is wrapped around a horse's fetlock and the tape tied around the felt above the joint. The top part of the felt is now folded down over the bottom part. Designed to protect the fetlock against injury while working.
