Etymology: G.C. Wells, British dermatologist, 20th century
cellulitis with erythema, edema, and often blistering of the skin accompanied by eosinophilia, flame figures, and a mild fever. A single episode lasts 2 to 6 weeks, and recurrences or exacerbations are common. Also called eosinophilic cellulitis.
