Welding Body

A structure associated with asbestosis, which is more common than asbestos bodies. Welding bodies have a golden-brown, iron-rich coat and central opaque core particle(s) composed of metal of carbon; unlike asbestos bodies, the iron coating is probably of exogenous origin, and is seen in digested samples of lung from welders
