Vogt's white limbal
girdle A white, arc-like opacity in the cornea located concentric with the limbus in the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Type 1 is a discontinuous band separated from the limbus by a clear zone. Type 2 is an unbroken band, made up mainly of hyaline deposits and is continuous with the sclera. This degeneration becomes more prevalent with age. How to thank TFD for its existence?
