swinepox
a disease caused by either of two pox-viruses, true swine poxvirus (suipoxvirus) or vaccinia virus. There are typical pox lesions, most commonly on the abdominal skin, and, in adult pigs, not much else. Piglets may have lesions on the face and have a concurrent conjunctivitis and some may die. Haematopinus suis is thought to transmit the disease in older pigs whereas suckers probably are infected by contact with the sow's udder.
