Q. what can cause a migrane other than light, noise, andno sleep? Well its been 4 days n 3 nights that I have it n it dont go away it was bad at first but then my right ear hurted as well as my right upper wisdomteeth It seems to be in only the right side and its been movin down towards my neck... A. A migraine attack can be triggered also by caffeine consumption, alcohol consumption, certain medications, allergic reactions, physical or emotional stress, smoking, skipping meals, menstrual cycle fluctuations, menopause, and certain food containing-
1) tyramine- red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken liver, figs and some beans.
2) nitrates - like hot dogs, bacon and salami.

Q. My husband has psoriasis and the dermatologist suggested that he try the uv light treatment.Anyone try it. some of the side effects may be skin cancer and melanoma's. If so can you please let me know if it actually did help or if not. Thanks a million.

A. uv light treatment procedure is relatively new mod of treatment so here is difficult to build an opinion about it.
Actually there are two main type of treatment relating uv light are in use one is uvb treatment and other one is PUVA (uva light based).
As uvb is the most prominent factor for skin cancer so this treatment is more risky. While PUVA is quite effective treatment and has less side effects.

A. Corey, that's quite tricky.. actually, there are some possibilities of what happened to you:
- the pregnancy test you did was wrong (was not accurate)
- or you were actually pregnant, but then you had a very early miscarriage

So, I will suggest next time, you can check whether you're pregnant or not after you miss your period, then you can check it by using home pregnancy test or even pregnancy pack test.
If you're a working woman, it is advisable to balance your activities, since the first weeks of pregnancy is quite important (that is the time when the embryo is implanted into the mother's uterus)
