tubuloglomerular feedback,
a feedback mechanism in the juxtaglomerular apparatus of the kidney, so that changes in solute concentration at the macula densa link to control the glomerular filtration rate and help ensure a relatively constant delivery of solutes to the distal tubule.

an essential ingredient of the juxtaglomerular theory of renal autoregulation; TGF is the proposed mechanisms whereby the glomerular flow rate is modified by changes in the tubular flow rate.
