It does not take a skilled translater to figure out what Ben Gurion was saying, namely that Kennedy's opposition to nuclear weapons in the Middle East was seen as an existential threat to the Jewish people and their newly-formed state.
I don't know if you've ever used an online translater, but I'm sure I was dealing with one of those instead of a real human being.
At the behest of his English translater, Georg Buhler, he changed his view and re-interpreted it as Vikrama Era in the English version of his work (see Buhler's Preface to Bhagwanlal Indraji, 1885).
