1. heat regulation.
ineffective thermoregulation a nursing diagnosis accepted by the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, defined as a state in which an individual's temperature fluctuates between hypothermia and hyperthermia.

thermoregulation
the physiological process controlling the balance between heat production and heat loss in the body so as to maintain body temperature; a function of a center in the hypothalamus. A lesion in that location can produce a central hyperthermia or hypothermia.

AUDIENCE: This is a fundamental book for any students and/or researchers involved in the fields of medicine, exercise physiology and human performance with special reference to thermal regulation.
A student from the Health Science College also gave a mini-lecture on thermal regulation and how the body heats up and cools down.
Finally, although the monitored indoor thermal conditions in Iranian hospitals were generally within the recommended range of the Iranian thermal regulations, they were generally out of the thermal comfort zones recommended by ISO, ASHRAE, and CIBSE.
