TLC which was set up in 1997 to help three charities - Acorns Children's Hospice, Birmingham Focus on Blindness and Birmingham St Mary's Hospice - has now added the trust to its list.
Sixty postmenopausal women were randomized in a crossover trail to either a therapeutic lifestyle changes (TLC) diet alone or a similar TLC diet that included one-half cup soy nuts containing 25 grams of soy protein and 101 mg of isoflavones, divided into three to four doses throughout the day.
One in particular, the Birmingham-based TLC (Three Local Charities), has enjoyed considerable success.
