Syngeneic Referring to a bone marrow transplant from one identical twin to the other. Mentioned in: Bone Marrow Transplantation syngeneic in transplantation biology, denoting individuals or tissues having almost identical genotypes, i.e. animals of the same inbred strain, or their tissues. Grafts can be as readily exchanged between syngeneic animals as between identical twins which are called isogeneic. |
