Swimmer’s View A radiologic position that is meant to allow optimal visualisation of the lower cervical spine. However, it is often characterized by high dose, high scatter, and difficulty in positioning; it is difficult in large patients or patients with shoulder injuries and is often performed under pressure. Trauma teams increasingly rely on CT to assess the cervical spine when the integrity of the cervico-thoracic junction is in question. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
