Q. I think my 4 year old has ADHD. How can I tell for sure? She is always in movement, can't hold still, gets out of focus real fast and hates concentration games. How can I check her myself to know whether it is ADHD?

A. You cannot diagnose ADHD in your child by yourself. If she shows multiple symptoms like you have said, you should get her evaluated by a physician (child developement specialist or a child psychiatrist) that will help guide you through the diagnostic steps (several diagnostic tests are out there).

Q. if you think you are pregnant and you have had a tubal ligation what should i do? should i wait to be sure?

A. i agree with doctoradhi, first of all get checked. the pregnancy tests are cheap and you can get them anywhere.
A tubal ligation is approximately 99% effective in the first year following the procedure. In the following years the effectiveness may be reduced slightly since the fallopian tubes can, in some cases, reform or reconnect which can cause unwanted pregnancy. so it can happen.

I know some people may say this is not a health problem..BUT IT IS..I NEVER THOUGHT THAT I WOULD BE ALIVE TO SEE THIS DAY..I WISH HIM LUCK..IT IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY.health care is #1 in my book,the homeless,people being put out of there homes,because of bad business,and believe it or not,their are children here in the united states that are hungry every day...I have seen people sleeping on the steps of our electric and gas company here on the east coast.we the people are going to have to help each other if things are to change...because the rich are only interested in getting richer..while we have people living on the street....mrfoot56...peace
