Minnesota Starvation Experiment
An experiment which ran from November 1944 until December 1945 and studied the physiologic effects of malnutrition and semi-starvation and the effectiveness of dietary rehabilitation on 36 male volunteers, as part of the American effort to feed populations that suffered malnutrition during the war
