a genus of small, globular digenetic trematodes in the family Psilostomatidae.

Sphaeridiotrema globulosus
found in the intestine of wild and domestic ducks and in swans and causes severe enteritis. It has caused severe mortalities in swans.
Sphaeridiotrema spinoacetabulum
inhibits the ceca and causes severe typhlitis.
