n.
An inconstant vessel that accompanies the right coronary artery in the coronary sulcus from the right ventricle and empties into the coronary sinus or the middle cardiac vein.

small cardiac vein
Etymology: AS, smael
one of the five tributaries of the coronary sinus that drain blood from the myocardium. It conveys blood from the back of the right atrium and the right ventricle. Also called right coronary vein. Compare great cardiac vein, middle cardiac vein, posterior vein of left ventricle.
