Resolution Denouement Muscle relaxation, and a sense of well-being; during resolution, ♂ are unerectable for a variable period of time; ♀ remain on 'red alert'

The work of Masters and Johnson omitted a sexual desire component in both the description of the four-stage sexual response cycle (Masters & Johnson, 1966) and in their book on treatment (Masters & Johnson, 1970), which was based on their model.
A Manual On Sexuality For Men With Spinal Cord Injuries is a practical manual on sexuality for men with spinal cord injuries which addresses issues ranging from dating and understanding the sexual response cycle to sex alternatives.
These include changes in the sexual response cycle such as a diminished interest in sex (due to various factors such as depression and medication), inability to achieve or sustain an erection and an inability to ejaculate (Lemon, 1993:35; Rabin, 1980:5).
