Sexual Stimulant

    0.01 sec.
Sexual Stimulant
(1) Aphrodisiac Any agent that is alleged to enhance sexual performance or libido by unproven or magical means
(2) A drug that enhances sexual performance by vasoactive mechanisms—e.g., sildenafil (Viagra), which prevents cGMP degradation by cGMP specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) in the corpus cavernosum. Increased cGMP leads to vasodilation of the intimal cushions of the helicine arteries and increased flow blood into the spongiosa of the penis causing an erection
