(1) Retrieve eggs from the perianal region in children infected with Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm) and
(2) Observe fungi in a fashion similar to their ‘native’ conformation in culture; a piece of transparent adhesive tape is touched to a colony of fungi, then adhered to a glass slide and stained with lactophenol blue
