The aforementioned article in The Brown University Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology Update cites several helpful diagnostic instruments and scales, such as the school-age children's version of the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS), the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) and the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL).
Suicidality was rated using a subscale of the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (SADS), and sleep was evaluated over the preceding month using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index.
0 assessment for each resident, one nurse administered the PHQ-9 and GDS, and a second nurse administered either the modified Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (mSADS) or the Cornell Scale for Depression.
