Emilie G. (1894–1977). Public health nurse and director of the Detroit Visiting Nursing Association. Under her directorship, the Visiting Nursing Association greatly expanded both its range of services and the area it served. She was also a leader in many professional organizations at the state and national levels and made significant contributions to the improvement of health care for the elderly and the chronically ill.
