Mark only joined the club about a year ago after a background in paragliding but quickly became a qualified solo pilot in sail planes.
``We fly sail planes and some electric planes they call park fliers, that can turn around and maneuver,'' said Hank Schorz as he walked over to a line of planes that ranged from almost weightless foam to balsa wood, with varying wingspans that went from a few feet to 134 inches.
As for the Happy Go Lucky, which England and his crew were busy building in his parents' Thurston area garage this past week, it will be a sort of sail plane, also green and yellow with a touch of orange, and a smiley face on the front.
