Sachs-Geor·gi test

(saks gā'or-gē),
the first precipitin test for syphilis of diagnostic practicality, the significant innovation having been the addition of cholesterol to the lipoidal antigen (alcoholic tissue extract) used in the earlier Meinicke test.
