The adoption of SNOMED-CT as the Consolidated Health Informatics initiative and license agreement between the National Library of Medicine and SNOMED International position it as the clinical language of medicine in the U.
Wolters Kluwer Health will use the Apelon tools to map internal codes and classifications to emerging national standards, such as SNOMED-CT, owned and maintained by SNOMED International, a division of the College of American Pathologists.
